Licensure: Linda Martinez-Palmer is licensed to practice law in the New Mexico state and federal courts and in tribal and administrative tribunals. She is a native New Mexican and has been a lawyer for approximately 20 years.
Education: Ms. Martinez-Palmer earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Areas of Legal Emphasis: Ms. Martinez-Palmer’s areas of legal emphasis include administrative agency, representation of individual, governmental, state entity and corporate clients in the area of General Tort Liability, Civil Rights, Insurance, Appellate, Family Law, School Law, Employer-Employee Relations, Employment Law, General Labor Law, Property, and Commercial Law.
Present and Former Memberships: Ms. Martinez-Palmer is a Barrister of the Oliver Seth American Inn of Court and a member of State Bar of New Mexico Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee. She is also active in her community and has previously served as a committee and board member of various organizations.
Prior Associations and Experience: After over fifteen years as a private practice attorney, Ms. Martinez-Palmer became the Child Support Hearing Officer at the First Judicial District Court in Santa Fe in 2002. She returned to private practice and joined Jay Goodman & Associates Law Firm, P.C. in 2007. She finds assisting clients in resolving their problems in a direct, person-to-person manner one of the most rewarding facets of private law practice.
